On the first day, you will be greeted by the tour guide and tour vehicle at the airport (Nevşehir-Kayseri) upon arrival. The journey to central Cappadocia will begin, and you will reach central Cappadocia in approximately 1 hour. Afterward, a stop will be made at the Devrent Valley for a visit, where the tour guide will provide information about the geological formation of the region and the Devrent Valley. Then, the group will depart for the Zelve and Paşabağları Open-Air Museum. In Paşabağları, the tour guide will give information about the fairy chimneys, rock churches, and formations, followed by a short walk.
Next, the group will head to the Avanos region, where lunch will be served at a local restaurant. You will receive information about Avanos, known for its handicrafts, and since the longest river in Turkey, the Kızılırmak, passes through Avanos, a visit will be made to a pottery workshop where the red clay extracted from the river is used for centuries-old ceramic art. The ongoing pottery work will be observed.
Later, you will visit the Göreme Open-Air Museum, which is very important for Christian history and houses multiple rock-cut churches. After the museum visit, the tour guide and vehicle will drop you off at your hotel and provide information about the second day's program.
